Photoelectric sensors are widely used in detection and control because of their high accuracy, fast response, non-contact measurement and simple structure. Although photoelectric sensors are flexible and diverse in form, there are some technical problems that need to be further eliminated.

When many users detect objects, the sensor does not display signals. People often think that the photoelectric sensor is broken. In fact, this is not the case.

The first thing to consider is wiring or configuration. For the optical sensor, it must be used by a combination of the transmitting part and the receiving part, and both ends need power supply. The regression reflection type must be combined by the sensor probe and the regression reflection plate. At the same time, the user must provide a stable power supply to the sensor. If it is dc power supply, the positive and negative poles must be confirmed.

The above reason analysis is for the consideration of the photoelectric sensor itself. What we also need to consider is the position of the detection object. If the detection object is not in the detection area, such detection is futile. The object must be within the area that the sensor can detect, that is, within the range of photoelectric perception.

Secondly, whether the optical axis of the sensor is aligned or not should be considered. The optical axis of the projection and receiving part of the beam should be aligned, and the corresponding optical axis of the probe and the reflector should be aligned.

It is also important to consider whether an object meets the criteria for detecting the object or for minimizing the criteria for detecting the object.The detection object should not be less than the minimum detection object standard, so as to avoid the reflection type and reflection type can not detect transparent objects well, like the reflection type has requirements on the color of the detection object, the darker the color is, the closer the detection distance will be.

If all of the above are excluded, the next step is to check for environmental factors.If the light intensity cannot exceed the rated range; If there is dust in the field environment, we need to clean the surface of the photoelectric sensor probe regularly.Or multiple sensors are installed closely together and interfere with each other.There is another kind of influence is the electrical interference, if there is a high-power equipment around, interference must have the corresponding anti-interference measures.If the above investigation has been done one by one, these factors can be clearly excluded or there is no signal output, it is recommended to return to the manufacturer for testing and judgment.
